Dow Jones Futures: Market Rally Gains Steam; Tesla Cuts Model 3, Y Prices In China

Apple stock, Microsoft (MSFT), Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL), Amazon.com (AMZN), and Meta Platforms (META) all report next week, along with Boeing (BA), Merck (MRK), Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) and hundreds of other companies

Aside from Vertex and MRK stock, both near buy points, all of the names listed above are well off highs. Still the earnings reports could be a catalyst for big market gains, sharp losses or more whipsaw action

Tesla cut Model 3 and Model Y prices in China on Oct. 23. The move isn't a surprise after wait times plunged to essentially zero, while overall global deliveries fell short in the third quarter

Dow Jones Futures Today Dow Jones futures rose 0.25% vs. fair value, but well off evening highs as Asian trading and news kicked in. S&P 500 futures climbed 0.35% and Nasdaq 100 futures advanced 0.45%
